No, I removed the information because we hadn't received updates in awhile, so I didn't think it was getting much use.

We could explore putting it back in, but another alternative might be adding a board to the forum for this purpose.   From my perspective, that would offer a couple of advantages -- another reason to encourage folks to join the forum, and perhaps foster discussion among members about any recommendations.   The downside might be that a set of recommendations might be less concise unless we can setup a table along with the discussions.

Our old GC site used to have a place where neighbors could provide recommendations for a variety of professional services they had performed in their homes - everything from roofing companies to plumbers to gardeners. Was that information transferred somewhere here on the new board? If not, can we start a new one? I have some great service companies that I've used this year and would love to give them a plug for their great work.
